Story:
Shiv (Abhishek Bachchan) and Pooja (Karisma Kapoor) are happily married to each other but can sometimes get into the tiniest of arguments that come from their approach to life. As Shiva comes every day, the idea of worship sometimes suits him best. Pooja falls in love with Shiva so much that she gives up her high career for him and settles down as a housewife. Their difference worsens and Pooja is soon convinced that Shiva has betrayed her. Pooja asks for a divorce and leaves him. She moves on with life and meets Raj (Akshay Kumar). Raj has everything one could ask for: money, fame but no love for what he has longed for. He falls in love with Pooja and she also starts liking him. They get engaged and as the wedding draws near, Shiva re-enters Pooja’s life. Old feelings and emotions return and she finds herself torn between the two men.
