Hotstar Specials announced the launch of Season 2 of Hindi crime-thriller series Hostage in a virtual press event on 3rd September. In the new season, the followers of the series will get to see a cast that includes Kanwaljit Singh, Divya Dutta, Dino Morea, Shibani Dandekar and Shweta Bose. It will see the return of actors like Dalip Tahil, Surya Sharma, Ashim Gulati, Anangsha Biswas and Mohan Kapu from the first season.
The producers of Season 2 promise “no dull moments” as the tables turn as the Predator becomes the victim. The crime thriller will not only take a new turn but will also bring new side plots woven into the script. Sudhir Mishra will be the director of the series while Sachin Mamta Krishna will be the director.
Director Sachin says, “Season 2 explores a deeper and more serious story than ever before; it will launch on September 9. After a phenomenal season 1 that has captivated the audience, Hotstar Specials is all set to launch the crime thriller in India.
